After years of restoration, the iconic Bramley Mountain Fire Tower is now open to the public for the first time in decades.
Built in 1925, this 60-foot steel structure once served as a vital lookout for forest fires across the Catskills. Now meticulously restored, it offers visitors a rare glimpse into history paired with breathtaking 360-degree views that stretch for miles.
Climb the 97 steps to the observation deck and experience what fire wardens saw nearly a century ago — rolling mountains, dense forests, and valleys carved by time. On clear days, you can see five counties and spot landmarks up to 40 miles away.
